Edward Archacki Obituary
Edward led a life marked by dedication to service and a deep commitment to his work. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War as a tank commander, demonstrating courage and leadership during a pivotal time in history.
Following his military service, Edward pursued a career in the electrical field, where he held numerous positions that showcased his technical skill and work ethic. Among his most notable accomplishments was his work with NASA during one of the most defining moments of the 20th century-the United States' landing on the moon. His contributions to this historic achievement reflected both his expertise and his passion for innovation.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mary Lewkosicz Archacki; and his wife Wilma along with his siblings Lillian, Carl, Ann, Stella, Virginia, Henry, Teddy, and Amelia. He also shared part of his life with Sylvia Welker.He is survived by many nieces and nephews who carry forward the family legacy. Edward also leaves behind his special friend and companion Nancy Lamb, whose presence brought warmth and companionship to his later years.
Edward's life was one of quiet strength and meaningful contribution. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him. A Memorial Mass will be held on February 21, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 11:45 PM at St. Francis Xavier Church 8880 Main St. The Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. is handling the private arrangements. Ed was a wonderful roommate for my Dad. We enjoyed talking to him. His many stories were very interesting. Prayers for your family. May God bless him and keep him.

I volunteer regularly at the PSSH. And although Ed was a very quiet person, he had a dignity about him that always stood out to me. I loved going to his room and just chatting. I tried so very hard to have him come out for activities, but he always sweetly declined. I will really miss his smile and friendliness.
