Edward Wallace Armstrong, 84, of Staunton passed away Saturday afternoon, December 23, 1989 at Alleghany Regional Hospital, Clifton Forge.
He was born December 18, 1905 at McDowell, a son of Jacob and Bertie (Siple) Armstrong.
He was a livestock truck driver and had served in the Army in World War II.
Surviving are a brother, Dennis Armstrong Sr. of McDowell; two half-brothers, Joe Arch and Fred Armstrong, both of Deerfield; and a nephew, Dennis Armstrong Jr. of Deerfield.
The body was cremated.
