Edward Aschoff Jr.

Edward "Eddie" Aschoff Jr, 53 of Silex, MO, passed away on August 9, 2024 at SSM- St.Joseph Hospital in St. Charles, MO. He was born on July 20, 1971 to Edward and Paulette Aschoff Sr., also at SSM- St.Joseph Hospital in St. Charles, MO. Eddie attended the locals schools along with his two brothers, Paul and Randy. He had worked as a landscaper and then also performing maintenance at J & J Snack Food Factory. He loved baseball, NASCAR, fishing, playing pool and bowling. Spending time with his large family and friends was very important to him. He is described by his family as, " The nicest guy, with a big heart." He would help anybody, as far as taking the shirt off of his own back." Eddie loved vanilla shakes, brownies and fruity pebbles. He was a loving son, brother, father and friend to many. Eddie will sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his children: Edward J.( Nichole) Aschoff III of Moscow Mills, MO, Shawna Marie Aschoff of Troy, Joshua Alec Brennan of Troy, Bille Jean (Trever) Sawyer of Troy, Kadie June Aschoff of Troy and Leah Craig;,his parents, Edward J. and Paulette Aschoff Sr. of Troy; grandchildren, Weston Michael, Avery Grace and Jordyn Aschoff, Landon and Liam Kavanagh, Haylie Sawyer, Kaylee Smith, Brooke, Peyton and Dylan Craig, siblings, Paul Adam Aschoff of Moscow Mills and Randy Aschoff of Troy, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Eddie was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Smith and his grandparents.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO 63379, 636-528-8244.
Funeral will also be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379. Father Chuck Tichacek to officiate.
