Edward B. Beckley

Edward B. Beckley, 76, of Fremont, OH passed away on November 21, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 16, 1949 in Fremont, OH the son of Edward L. and Doris (Hall) Beckley. Ed married Sandra Beckley in 1975 and she survives.

Ed was a roofer for Fremont Roofing for over thirty years until he retired. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman.

Ed is survived by his wife of fifty years, Sandra Beckley; mother, Doris Beckley; children, Teresa (Mack) Reed, Kenneth (Tulin) Howey, Arthur (Stephanie) Howey, Jr and Tim (Stephanie) Beckley, Richard (Shelly) Farmer; siblings, Marlene Bleckinger, Diane Beckely, David Beckley, Duane Beckley, Thomas Beckley and Jeff Beckley; grandchildren, Lisa, Josh, Marisa, Chevy, Austin, Marie, Trey, Kyle, Tanner, Makenna, Haley, Emma, Bryley and Remy and many great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father; son, Randy Beckley; siblings, Violet Pierce, Christine Chamberlin, Julie Wyss and Larry Lee Beckley.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Ed’s name to Heartland Hospice.
