Rochester/Greece: Edward "Ted" Cattron, Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at age 80. Predeceased by his parents, Edward & Florence; brother, Gary; daughter-In-Law, Renee Julian Cattron. Survived by his wife, Karen Cattron of 57 years; his sons, Matt (Kelly) and Mark (Brooke); grandchildren, Zach, Riley, Jake, Carter, Avery (Dylan), Mark, Evan and Jake; siblings, Jeff (Janet) and Les (Terri); many dear friends.
Ted was an Army Captain, Airborne Army Ranger, Pathfinder & West Point USMA Graduate, a Pilot and Flight Instructor, Jumpmaster. Served 2 Tours in Vietnam; received the Silver Star, Bronze Star & Purple Heart.
He was a Systems Engineer with Eastman Kodak Company for 29 years, Government Space Division. He was a 20 year Lector at Catholic Church and a Boy Scout Leader. Ted was an Avid Racquetball player, Pilot, Fly/Built Model Airplanes, Home computer networking, HAM Radio Operator, Super Husband, Dad and Grandpa!
Friends may call Tuesday (Oct 8th) 3:30-6 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday (Oct 9th) 9:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel. His interment with military honors will be held Wednesday (Oct 9th) 11:00 AM at Western NY National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Rd, Corfu, NY 14036. Family will meet at the cemetery and line up at 10:45 AM.
In lieu of flowers: Donations to Honor Flight Rochester or The Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation in his memory.

God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I have known Ted all my life. His parents were my godparents and we visited together for many occasions through out our childhood. He was always positive and had a smile on his face. When he was a freshman at West Point, I visited him along with his parents and attended a couple of the first Christmas activities. Here is a photo of him at a BD party for my sister in the high chair. He is on the left, 1954
