Edward Caulfield

Edward J. Caulfield, age 69, of Bensalem, formerly of Ocean City, NJ and Long Island NY, passed away on October 4, 2022
Eddie was a family man first and foremost. He always cherished time spent with his wife, sons, grandchildren, siblings and extended family. He enjoyed travelling with his wife, Kerry. He was a Boy Scout leader for his boys and sponsored scouts to be able to go on camping trips. Whether it was soccer, dance, karate, softball, volleyball or gymnastics, Eddie was always there to cheer on his grandchildren. When he lived in Ocean City, NJ, he liked to host his family for beach days or take walks on the Boardwalk. Eddie liked to cook, and he was happy to feed friends and strangers. He liked making Pea soup at home, but he also donated his time carving turkeys at soup kitchens at Thanksgiving. If he went out to eat, he enjoyed steaks and seafood towers. In his personal time, he liked watching the Phillies and Eagles, or listening to music, especially Peter, Paul, and Mary. He was a history buff and had a particular interest in the Civil War and submarines. Eddie was very proud of his professional accomplishments during the 33 years he worked with Ryder as a Group Director of Logistics and cherished the friendships he made along the way.
Beloved husband of Kerry (nee Olson). Cherished father of Thomas (Casey) and Matthew (Abigail Schmidt). Devoted grandfather of Summer and Cooper. Adoring son of Anthony and Margaret (nee Weldon). Loving brother of Jeanne Clark (Bob), Peter Caulfield (Donna Lawson), Andrew Caulfield (Laura), and Kitty Gillott (Mark). Dear brother-in-law of Susan Grabel (Jeff) and Vaughn Olson (Elvira). He is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews. Eddie also leaves behind a host of long-time friends and loved ones.
He was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Jeannie O'Neill.
