Edward Cutler Obituary

Edward A. "Jr. Boy" Cutler, Jr., 51, of Taberg, NY, passed away with his mother, Barbara J. Cutler, on Saturday, September 3, 2022, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born in Rome on August 5, 1971, he was a son of Edward and Barbara (Tennant) Cutler, Sr. He was a 1991 graduate of Rome Free Academy. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Michelle Hawkins, on August 1, 1998.
Ed owned and operated Crazy Eddie's Animal Control along with his wife and with the help of cousin and good friend, James Nestle.
Ed loved hunting, trapping and anything outdoors. He spent most of his time traveling the country with his wife collecting antique firearms and war memorabilia. While at home, he never missed a mule ride with his sidekick, Alexa.
Surviving besides his loving wife, Michelle, are two children, Edward Cutler III and Mickayla Cutler; three grandchildren, Damien, Steven Jr. and Anna; three siblings, Barbara Cutler, Tammy Kachoris (Anthony) and Leo Cutler (Julianne); several nieces and nephews; and two close family friends, Darrel and Cathie Thorp. Ed was predeceased by his father, Ed Sr.; and his niece, Jasmine Finch.
It gives our family great comfort knowing that where ever there next journey shall be, they are on it together.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, NY 13440.

When Eddie was at Strough, he was a sweet, likeable and hardworking boy in my 9th grade English class. In later years, I got a kick out of his ads for Crazy Eddie's, realizing his compassion and problem solving fit his dedication to nature. May stories of his warmth and spiritedness keep lasting joy for all his beloved family and friends.

When Eddie was a 9th grader at Strough, I was his English teacher, where he was sweet, hard-working and so very likable. Over the years, I got a kick out of ads for Crazy Eddie's, enjoying his humor and that he dedicated himself to a business that called for compassion and problem-solving. Loving family and friends while missing his warmth and spiritedness, your shared stories will keep him in your hearts.

I have a lot of fond memories of jr boy as I knew him. Throwing hisself on the ground just for fun. I went camping with the family once and he was so funny. Though I haven´t seen him in years my heart hurts for him and his family and for the kid I knew. With love Anita
