Edward Dari Dade aka "Edboogz" will be remembered as being an intelligent, out going, unashamed, strong minded, vocal, (especially during Xbox play) person. No matter the outcome where it be good or bad for him.
Edward was born into a battle not his own but was the Lord's. On his day of birth at Englewood Hospital, Englewood NJ, he was discovered to be known as what is called a "blue baby." That meant his heart was not receiving adequate blood flow, which caused his skin to appear blue. As a newborn he was immediately rushed off to Mt. Sinai Hospital in Manhattan to undergo a lifesaving heart surgery. He was diagnosed with congenital heart disease and spent many months in NICU, a second final surgery would come later on.
By God's love and grace all was successful. His first few years of life were quite physically painful for a child. However, the Lord healed his heart, strengthened his body and raised him up. Yet again 14 years later he would face a second life threatening diagnosis, juvenile type 1 diabetes, all in the very same year of losing his beloved mommy and aunt Diane. God again strengthened and enabled Edward in life to go forth and move on.
He went on to graduate from Dwight Morrow High School
Englewood,NJ having received the blessing of even a scholarship. He then went on to attend Bergen Community College, Paramus NJ for some time. Glory be to God!
In Edward's free time he enjoyed Xbox for many years, his friends and of course sneaker trading "Air Jordan's" Edward later became employed by Shoprite of Englewood, NJ, as a deli worker. In January 2019, his health began to fail, sending him into major stent surgery, leaving him with bladder failure. He began the long road to recovery.
Edward's health continued to decline, and he ultimately succumbed to all of its complications on Sunday, December 18th, 2022, at University Hospital Newark, NJ around 8am.
However as he lay in his hospital bed, Edward was told to talk to the Lord in your heart, and in your mind. He hears you; Jesus loves you. Ask him for comfort, healing, and strength. Hold on, don't you give up. The will of the Lord shall be done. Edward is gone right now but never will be forgotten. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, 2 Corinthians 5:8.
Edward leaves to cherish so many beautiful memories, on loving sister; Elizabeth Danielle Harris, aunt; Christine Ann Camero two beloved nephews; Jahmir Isaiah Harris and Ja Kai, Jeremiah Harri, one dear niece; Amaya Laura Booker, a host of family and other relatives and lifelong friends.
He was surely loved and will be dearly missed.
