Edward F. Donor

Edward F. Donor, 94 of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Care One at Holmdel.
Born Wednesday, March 19, 1930 in New York, New York, he was the son of the late Edward and Theresa Donor.
Edward was raised in Belleville, NJ and was a graduate of Belleville High School. After High School Edward joined the United States Army, serving in Germany. During his service Edward played football for the Army.
After earning an Honorable Discharge Edward returned home to New Jersey. Edward worked for many years in law enforcement. He worked with the Madison Park police department which later became the Old Bridge Police Department. He retired in 1991.
Edward enjoyed watching old movies. He liked spending time in nature, fishing and camping, and also being in his garden. Edward will be missed by all those that love him.
Edward was predeceased by his beloved wife Maureen.
Edward is survived by his daughter Barbara Schin and her husband Andrew, and by his grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, and Jared, and by his great grandchildren, Samantha, Lydia, Ezra, Harrison, and Cecilia..
Military honors will take place at 10:00 AM on Saturday at Holy Cross Burial Park located at 840 Cranbury South River Rd East Brunswick, New Jersey 08816.
