Funeral service for Edward “Eddie” Price, age 70, of Sulphur Springs, will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity Harvest Church of God with Bro. Jason Connor and Donna Albert officiating. Interment will be at Rockdale Cemetery with Cleveland Hooten, Daymon Burke, Marc Burke, Bill Sloan, David Toles and Toby Lewis serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Colley, Todd Parnell and Steve Albert. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mr. Price passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
Eddie was born on March 5, 1953, in Dallas to Edward and Margaret (Barnish) Price. After high school, he spent over fifty years working in heating and cooling, with the last twenty-plus years at A&S Air Conditioning in Sulphur Springs. He married Neena Parnell in Sulphur Springs on May 14, 2016. Eddie loved to stay busy and was always found working. He enjoyed working with his cattle, riding his motorcycle and was extremely talented at working with his hands. His work ethic was unmatched as he built his own house by himself over a span of four years, just working on it during the weekend. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Neena Price; daughters, Shelby Lerner and husband Steven, Katie Price, Shauna Upton and husband Matthew; grandchildren, Morgan Lafratte, Lane Upton, Gracie Michon; brother-in-law, Tony Colley; sisters-in-law, Cathy Colley, Glenda Burnett and a host of nieces and nephews that adored him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Margaret Price; son, Jason Price; brother, Charlie Price.
