The son of Charlotte and Edward Flormann, Edward was raised in Ringwood and moved to West Milford in the early 1980s, where he remained throughout his life. Fondly referred to as "E.J." by family and friends, he had a bright spirit and comedic disposition. He loved dogs and adopted several rescue dogs throughout his life. While growing up, E.J. enjoyed skiing and dirt bike riding. He is a graduate of Lakeland Regional High School and worked as an HVAC technician for various companies throughout his career. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 289 of West Milford.
E.J. is survived by his mother, Charlotte; his brother, Craig; and his sister, Darlene McNamara and her husband, Michael. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Meghan, Rebecca, Steven, and Matt as well as great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexander, Emily, Nicholas, Marco, and Harper. He was predeceased by his father, Edward.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
