Catherine A. Nesbihal

Catherine A. Nesbihal, age 65, of Haskell, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 11, 2023. Daughter of the late Joseph and Elsie (Bentsen) Nesbihal, Catherine was born September 20, 1957 in Perth Amboy, NJ. She was a resident of Haskell for most of her life, graduating from Lakeland Regional High School and was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church. Ms. Nesbihal is remembered as being a hard worker, loving mother and partner, and beloved grandmother. Her friends growing up gave her the nickname "Smiley" as she was always smiling. She enjoyed being a food server for many years. Prior to her retirement, she most recently served at Six Brother's Diner of Little Falls, NJ as well as Wayne Hills Diner of Wayne, NJ.
She is survived by her significant other of 35 years Mark Tracy, daughter Victoria Moreno and husband Jorge, and granddaughter Elisa, as well as her four siblings Joseph Nesbihal, Joan Foster, Aline Nesbihal, and Diane Edward.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, September 30th 2023, from 11am to 1pm at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home Inc., 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, N.J. with a funeral service taking place at 12:30pm. A celebration of life to follow for family and friends at the family residence.
