Edward Glenn Garriott

Edward Glenn Garriott, 92, of Fulton, was called to his heavenly home on December 8, 2023.
On September 23, 1931 Eddie was born in Steedman, Mo to the late William R. Garriott and the late Ida (Polacek) Garriott.
Eddie was a Corporal in the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He eventually started his own business, Garriott Trucking, after that he went to work for Wolfmeier Trucking until the age of 85.
In his younger years he enjoyed going fishing and hunting, and he loved to go dancing. He was a member of the Mason Lodge 48, Teamsters Union, Lifetime member of the VFW, and active with the Central Missouri Honor Flight.
Those remaining to treasure his memory include his wife, Maxine Garriott, son Richard Garriott; daughters, Rhonda Schenewerk (Charles), Brenda Garriott, and Kimberly Garriott; stepdaughters, Toni Bussart (Leon), and Annette Littlejohn (Ralph); brothers, Clyde Garriott, Lawrence "Dale" Garriott (Hazel), Vernon Garriott (Linda), Gary Garriott, Charles Garriott (Linda), and Randy Garriott; sister, Shirley Spyers; sister in laws, Tillie Garriott and Dean Garriott, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Eddie was preceded in death by his son, Brent Garriott; daughter, Vicky McDonald (Charles); brothers, William Garriott and Donald Garriott; sister, Juanita Case (Ralph); sister-in-law, Margaret Garriott; grandchild, Cheryl McDonald, and one great grandchild, Brandon Garriott.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday December 14, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at the VFW Post 2657 in Fulton, Mo. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the Fulton VFW with Michelle Scott-Huffman officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hartsburg, Mo.
