Edward Greer Obituary
Edward Junior Greer, age 78, passed away unexpectedly March 15, 2024. He was born May 31, 1945 to the late Taft and Essie Greer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Virgil, Jimmy, Bobby Ray, and Max Greer.
Junior worked in the furniture factories for many years and enjoyed playing the banjo and guitar.
Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 52 years, Jane Greer; daughter, Melissa Greer; son, Michael Greer; sister, Pearl Greer; brother, Earl Greer; dog, Sweetie and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. The graveside service and burial will follow the funeral at Price-Roark Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family of Edward Junior Greer has entrusted his services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church Street, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
