Edward Lee Howard (Eddie) passed on September 9th, 2024. He was born on December 22nd, 1970.
Eddie attended Bruton High School. Eddie worked on small engines. He started two businesses in Williamsburg named Big Eds Lawnmower Repair, created in 1990 & a thrift store in Lightfoot called Big Eds Thrift Store. He attended Mount Vernon Methodist Church. Eddie loved the Williamsburg community, family, his dog Daisy Mae, and God.
In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, selling and buying items, boating, the Washington Redskins, Nascar, sports, spending time with animals, and spending time with his family and friends. Eddie loved reading and educating himself on current news events. Eddie never met a stranger. He was a friend to all and loved making others laugh with his funny jokes. If you were down, he knew the way to make you laugh.
Eddie was preceded in death by his mother & father, Ruth & Stewart Howard. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Pattie Ann Howard. As well as a close friend, Tiffany Nicole Jones. He is survived by his sons, James Howard (Andrea) & Robert Howard, daughter, Kelly Howard, grandson, Dean Howard, his brother, Rusty Howard (Ronda), nephew Trevor Howard, nieces Haley Howard (Jamie), Maelyn Howard, & numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and amazing friends.
A church service will be held on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Mount Vernon Methodist Church, 7801 Church Lane, Toano.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the Heritage Humane Society, 430 Waller Mill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185. Arrangements by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, Va.

I remember him from Bruton High and also hanging out at 2nd Street Bistro. He was such a fun loving guy. Always smiling and in a good mood. He will be missed by many. My condolences to his family and friends.
