Edward Lee Huerta was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 30, 1969 to parents Gilbert and Josephine Huerta. Edward entered into eternal rest on February 9, 2025 at the age of 55. He is preceded in death by his father; Gilbert De Leon Huerta, mother; Josephine Huerta, and grandson; Tony Ramirez. He is survived by his spouse; Anita Costilla, son; James Edward Huerta, daughters; Lillian Huerta, April Huerta, and Cory Huerta (Belinda). Brothers; Gilbert (Deborah), Steve, Michael, Gary (Crystal), and Roland (Angel). Sisters; Catalina, and Christine. Grandchildren; Aaliyah, Stephanie, Jeremiah, Julius, Jayden, Laila, Alan, Theseus, Elliot, Alison, Elise, and Natalia. Step Children; Sophia Reyes, Sabrina Moreno (Jose), and Judy Reyes (Ryan). Edward had numerous of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends that he loved so much with all his heart. Edward was a big fan of the San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Cowboys, and also loved baseball. Many of his hobbies included were watching old and new movies, and having BBQ's with family. Edward also enjoyed on his weekends or days off playing his Xbox games with his brother Gilbert and nephew Iain Huerta. Everyone knew Edward as a hard working man, who was funny, charismatic, full of life, adventurous, and a very loving person to everyone. You will always live in our memories and our hearts. Rest in Peace.

11a.m.-3p.m.- Visitation to be held at Texas Funeral Home, 2702 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. With a prayer to start at 1p.m.
