Edward Neils Jordan, Jr born May 30, 1940, passed away in his home November 3, 2025, after a long battle with Parkinsons and dementia. Edward was born in Bell Gardens, California and attended Excelsior Highschool where he met his future love Marlene Rose Silverman. Ed served three years in the US Navy. Ed graduated from Rio Hondo College and went on to work as a titled engineer for Hughes aircraft until he retired in 1995. During his career with Hughes, Ed participated in the development and building of electronics for warfare- offensive / defensive and microwave tubes used in guidance systems for war surface ships, aircrafts and Satellites.
Edward enjoyed race cars, golfing, fishing, football, dancing and music. Edward and Marlene had two children Philip and Christina. After Marlenes tragic death in 2003, Edward went on to marry Bonnie where they combined families (9 children). Ed and Bonnie went on to travel for many years enjoying the various historical and natural wonders while they visited loved ones throughout the western US.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents Edward Neils Jordan Sr. and Alice Reed Jordan, his first wife Marlene, and stepson Troy Dudley. Ed is survived by his wife Bonnie Jo (Campbell, Dinoff), children; Christina (David) Wolf, Philip (Jenni) Jordan, stepchildren; Jamie (Jana) Hall, Marcie (Brandon) Mitchell, Rory (Lateashea) Hall, Damion (Alecia) Hall, Ash (Courtney) Hall, Lindsay (Jeremy) Greene; 28 grandchildren and 20 greatgrandchildren; and brother Dennis (Susan) Jordan.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4618 Porto Lane, Pasco, Washington with a viewing at 1:00pm and funeral service starting at 2:00pm
Ed will be interned with Marlene at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California on Friday, November 14, 2025.
