Fay lived a full and joyful life centered on family, creativity, and community. She loved square dancing, needlework, and creating beautiful jewelry. She found peace in watching birds and tending to her flower garden. Her compassion extended beyond her home - she volunteered her time at a local animal shelter, sharing her warmth and kindness with both people and animals alike.
Fay was preceded in death by her parents, Bart and Ruby Green, and her siblings Ray Green, Mary Noel, Betty Nichols, Roger Green, and Robbie Green. She is survived by her sister, Sarah Edwards of Columbia, Missouri; her loving partner, William Stephen of Laurie, Missouri; her sons, Russell Jordan of Overland Park, Kansas, Steven Jordan of Overland Park, Kansas, and Kevin Jordan of Camdenton, Missouri; her grandchildren, Michelle Root(Jordan), Trisha Jordan, Sydney Vaillancourt (Jordan), and Ian Jordan; and her great-grandchildren, Roxanne and Gracyn Root.
Those who knew Fay will remember her as thoughtful, caring, and hardworking - a woman whose love for her family and zest for life left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in her honor.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
