Patricia Parham Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home - Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel on Nov. 5, 2025.
Patricia Kathryn "Pat" Parham, 84, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and great-grandmother, Pat will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and kind spirit that touched everyone she met.
Born on May 20, 1941, in Kansas City, Missouri, Pat was the daughter of Edgar and Lenora Wright. Known from an early age for her friendly nature, Pat truly never met a stranger. Those who crossed her path quickly found themselves embraced as friends, drawn in by her infectious smile, easy laughter, and genuine interest in others.
Pat married the love of her life, Donal Edwin Parham, with whom she shared decades of devotion and partnership. Together they built a family grounded in love, joy, and togetherness. Pat and Donal raised their children with deep affection and unwavering support, fostering a sense of belonging and kindness that continues to ripple through the generations.
Family was at the center of everything for Pat. She is survived by her husband, Donal; her seven children, David Osment and wife Lisa (Sadie), Cary Osment and wife Linnea (Charley, Bryan, Caitlin, Sabrina), Lisa Daniel and husband Kelly (Greyson, Sophia), Susan Remerscheid and husband David (Luke, Grace), Jeff Parham and wife Wanda (Dustin, Danielle, Jake), Teri Parham and wife Gretchen (Hudson), and Kathryn Creson and husband Shane (Caleb). She was the proud grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 19, each one of whom brought immense joy and purpose to her life. Pat is also survived by her sister, Christina McManigal, and her brother, John Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pat's passions reflected her zest for connection and community. She loved a good game of bridge and valued the camaraderie of her book club, where stories and friendships intertwined. Her curiosity and joy for life were steady companions, and her home was always open to neighbors, family, and friends alike.
Faith was a guiding force in Pat's life. As a member of West Lake Christian Church in Laurie, Missouri, she found purpose and companionship among a caring congregation. Her presence there, marked by generosity and kindness, was a gift to all who knew her.
A celebration of Pat's life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, at West Lake Christian Church, 936 Highway O, Laurie, Missouri 65037. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in honor of her remarkable life and enduring legacy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, an organization close to the family's heart.
Patricia Kathryn Parham lived a life full of laughter, compassion, and grace. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to shine through the many lives she touched.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
