Edward W. Kinsley, 87, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on July 3, 2025 at home surrounded by family and loved ones.
Ed was born in Connecticut on July 25, 1937 to the late Frances McGeady and the late Harrison Kinsley.
Ed is the husband of Joan Culbertson Kinsley with whom he shared 53 years of marriage.
Ed was a long time employee of Chemical Leaman Tank Lines. The company was formed in 1961 through the merger of Leaman Transportation and Chemical Tank Lines. In 1998, CLTL merged with Montgomery Tank Lines to form Quality Carriers, where Ed retired in 2010.
In his years at Chemical Leaman at the Essington Terminal, Ed acted as Chief Shop Stewart for Teamsters Local 312.
Spending time with family was important to Ed. He enjoyed watching baseball and hockey as well as the occasional crime drama with his family.
Ed was an avid Flyers and Phillies fan and grew up playing baseball and even played for Olney High School until he graduated in 1955.
Books were a large part of his life and he enjoyed tagging along to the thrift shops with his wife Joan to look for new and interesting books to read.
Ed is survived by his six children: Edward F Kinsley (Shannon), Kelly Kinsley (Graham), Donna Boone, Kim Boone, Susan Parthemore (Doug) and James Boone. Five Grandchildren: John A Hoffman IV, Heather Hoffman (Matthew), Travis Boone, Kathryn Kinsley and Liliana Boone.
Ed was proceeded in death by his brothers Harrison Kinsley and Robert Kinsley.

Words of Remembrance Service: Friday, July 11, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Logan Funeral Home in Exton Pennsylvania.
