Marjorie Ellen Kinsley, 96, died of natural causes on Tuesday May 20, 2025 at Good Shepherd Hospice, Lakeland, FL.
Marge was born in Mansfield, Ohio on October 20, 1928. She graduated from Mansfield Senior High School where she was in many activities and was the head majorette. In 1950 she graduated from The Ohio State University School of Nursing and was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She later attended Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY studying voice and opera, and Bowling Green State University, Ohio earning a Master's in Education.
She worked as an Registered Nurse until 1967 when she took on the dual role of teacher and school nurse at Danbury High School, Marblehead, Ohio.
After retiring she moved to Zapata, Texas and then to Lakeland, Florida where she enjoyed many activities, especially swimming. She had many treasured friends.
She attended Cypress Lakes Village campus of Lakes Church and had been a member of the United Church of Christ in Marblehead, Ohio.
Survivors are her sister, Ann Payton of Strongsville, Ohio and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Sophia Lattimore, father Konrad Ziegler, stepfather Ernest Lattimore, brother Richard Ziegler, sister Dorothy Pfahler, and stepbrothers Ned and Neil Lattimore.
Burial will be at Lakeland Memorial Gardens in Lakeland.
