Edward Philip Lempke of Roseville, Michigan, passed away the morning of January 24, 2025 at the age of 60. He was born on February 7, 1964 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to Anthony & Phyllis (VanAssche) Lempke. Ed's life was blessed with the love for his family & his faith. He worked at Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights. He was the President of the Usher Club at St. Basil the Great. He spent countless hours volunteering as a MCREST coordinator, St. Vincent de Paul Vincentian, and Boy Scouts of America Troop #1412. He had a great passion for the outdoors and took pride in his landscaping and gardening. He loved to go camping with his children at Outdoor Adventures, and becoming an actor at Blake's Haunted Attractions. He simply enjoyed the quality time that he got to spend with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Angela of 41 years and their four children, Edward II (Angela Bischoff), Samantha, Brandon, and Julia. Ed will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his warm spirit to everyone who he crossed paths with, and his committed devotion to his call of service for the Lord.
A funeral service to honor Ed's life will take place on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025 at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, located at 22851 Lexington Ave, Eastpointe, MI 48021. Visitation will begin at 9:30AM, followed by a mass of Catholic burial at 10 :00AM. The interment will be private as requested by the family.
In Lieu of flowers, we kindly request donations be sent to the family in Ed's memory.
Ed will be deeply missed, but forever cherished in the hearts of those he touched and those who knew and loved him dearly.
May he be guided to the gates of heaven and eternally rest in peace.
Amen
