Edward A. Lewicki, born on January 24, 1931, in Detroit, MI, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, at the age of 94. He was a devoted family man, a dedicated worker, and a faithful Christian who lived a life full of love and passion.

Edward's early years in Detroit were spent under the loving care of his parents, Josephat and Antonina, alongside his siblings Sophie, Helen, Ann, Josephine, Stanley, and Casimir. His family was a source of strength and joy throughout his life. He carried the values instilled in him during these formative years throughout his life.

In his professional life, Edward was known for his dedication and hard work as a truck driver, transporting various items to multiple companies. His strong work ethic and reliability made him a respected figure among his colleagues and within the industry. He balanced his work life with a strong commitment to his faith, being an active member of St. Barbara Catholic Church. His involvement in the church was not just as a parishioner but as a pillar of the community, embodying the Christian values of service and compassion.

Edward's life was marked by his enduring love for his wife, Willie, with whom he shared 60 beautiful years together and have one daughter Kathy. Edward also has four children, Jackie, Karen, Denise and Edward from his deceased first wife Dolores.

He was a loving father who instilled in his children the importance of faith, passion, and love. This legacy of love extended to his grandchildren Angela, Emily, Sarah, Carla, Chris, Aaron, and his great-grandchildren Willow Rose, Jacob, Aiden, Emma, Abby, Lia, Gavin, and Callan. His role as a patriarch was cherished by all, and his guidance and wisdom will be deeply missed.

Edward's interests reflected his nature as a person who found contentment in the simple pleasures of life. His faith was central to his existence, and he lived as a true Christian, filled with compassion and love for others. His passion for life was evident in everything he did, and he approached every day with a loving heart.

Described by those who knew him as faith-filled, passionate, and loving, Edward's spirit was a beacon of light in the lives of his family and friends. His unwavering faith, his boundless passion for life, and his unconditional love for his family are the hallmarks of his legacy.

Edward's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, but his memory will live on as a source of inspiration and comfort. His life was a journey of love, faith, and dedication – a journey that touched the lives of many and left the world a better place.

We bid farewell to Edward A. Lewicki, a man of great faith and love, and we celebrate a life well-lived, full of the values that he cherished the most.
