Tim Workman & family

January 29, 2026

"Time favors people with a genuine spirit of communication and interest for others & their community" - Growing up in the small area of McGaheysville and attending school there & Montevideo with Chip, Tim, and Charles, the Long family were one of many pillars that made growing up there, pleasant. I believe our Dad Harold, and Ed Long served on the first Water Commission in the mid-60s that eventually led to overall system that is in place there today. I remember being involved in Saturday morning recreation basketball during our 6th & 7th grade years organized by Mr. Long, and his "voice" (from the Press Box on stilts) in our later years of high school was Quality Announcing* His was a Life, well-lived. Best to his family and friends along with our prayers, as well. We were all blessed to know him and Mrs. Long in our lifetime, and their Faith in God and community were positive examples for us all. Rest In Peace.
