Edward C. Patt died on December 22, 2025. A lifelong resident of East Bridgewater. He was the loving husband of the late Mildred A, (Buck) Patt for 55 years.

Ed was born on July 12, 1932 in East Bridgewater to the late Henry and Mabel (Morse) Patt. He attended East Bridgewater schools. He worked at the Carver Cotton Gin Co. as an apprentice machinist. Ed went on to become an all around machinist at the Independent Nail Company from 1953 - 1977. Ed and Mildred established the "Ye Old Tyme Shoppe", a clock repair business eventually branching out into the antique business.

Ed enjoyed collecting antique watches and clocks and was a member of the National Watch and Clock Collectors Association for 47 years. He was also a member of the Mechanical Music Box Society and the Hockomock Antique Association.

Ed is survived by his son Richard C. Patt of Texas, his brother and sister-in-law Henry and Elisabeth Patt of Holliston, Massachusetts, and his sister in law Madeline Patt of Pembroke, Massachusetts, several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by many friends. He was the brother of the late George R. Patt and his wife Helen L. Patt of Texas, and the brother of the late Robert M. Patt of Massachusetts. He was the father of the late Edward G. Patt of Ohio and Linda C. Landry of North Carolina.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, January 2nd from 10am-12pm at Chapman Funerals and Cremations, 35 Spring Street in East Bridgewater. A Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home at 12pm. Burial in Central Cemetery in East Bridgewater.

Donations in memory of Edward may be made to the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater, Resident Activity Fund, 765 West Center Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
