Edward was the owner of UTX Inc., an IT repair and web design company with locations in Cockeysville and Hampden, Maryland. He worked in the IT industry for the past 28 years.
He is survived by his life partner of 27 years, Jeanne A. Noll; his mother, Theresa M. Podowski; his children, Christopher Podowski and Megan Podowski; and his two beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Kenneth Podowski, Anthony Podowski, Dawn (Podowski) Fitzgerald, wife of Kevin Fitzgerald, and Deborah (Podowski) Fields, wife of Thomas Fields.
Edward was preceded in death by his father, Edward A. Podowski, Sr., and his brother, Robert Podowski.
A viewing will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 W. Main St., Fleetwood, PA. Burial will follow at Pricetown Cemetery, Pricetown, PA. Online condolences may be shared at www.MaeStumpFuneralHome.com.

Ed was a long time member at Grace Lutheran Church in Lutherville, where he selflessly gave his time and talents. My husband I met him in the church and appreciated his efforts. He was genuinely a man of faith. The world is lessened by his passing.Please,God, comfort Jeanne and his family and friends.

I met Ed through Rotary years ago when I became President of the Hunt Valley Club and he was our Area Governor. His quick smile and overall positivity made it a joyful experience. When our two clubs joined together, I was happy to see that we could continue working on projects together. When I think of Ed, I envision that cherubic smile, incredible optimism and drive and know I've been blessed to know him. Ed will be remembered and missed.
