Lori Beavens Obituary

Lori J. (Bock) Beavens, age 63, of Fleetwood, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Reading Hospital. Wife of Michael V. Beavens. Born in Erie, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur C. Bock, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Marks) Bock. Lori enjoyed playing bingo and having family game nights. She loved cooking and started her own cooking group on Facebook. Other interests included taking care of her fur babies Taz, Schnooki and grand fur baby Sasha. Bird watching was another joy, she especially enjoyed seeing hummingbirds. She is survived by her husband Michael, stepdaughter Nicole M. Beavens, fiancé of Joseph E. Sands. Grandchildren Jaelea Wickwire, Alicia Wickwire and Timothy Sands. Also her siblings Arthur (Bud) C. Bock, Jr. husband of Joan Bock, Donna J. Chivari widow of Steve Chivari and fiancé Dennis J. Scheller, Connie L. Dickey widow of Dale Dickey, Mary Ellen Mendoza wife of Jose Mendoza. Many nieces and nephews. Mother-in-law Leora L. Beavens, sister-in-law Denise A. Snyder, wife of Jack L. Snyder and brother in law Walter J. Scholl, Jr. widower of Bonita L. Scholl. Lori was predeceased by her sons Alden (Bill), W. Wickwire, Daniel Wickwire and sister Bonita L. Scholl Inurnment will be held at later date in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Erie, PA. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in memory of Lori to the American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 2216-7023
