Edward Leon "Ed" Reagan

RICHMOND, Ind. – Edward "Ed" Leon Reagan, Sr., passed away on November 14, 2025, at home surrounded by family.
Ed is survived by his wife, Sue, whom he married on May 31, 1986; two sons, Edward (Amy) Reagan Jr. and Shawn Reagan; stepson, Darren Collett; stepdaughter, Julie (Tim) Frame; seven grandchildren, Lukas (Stephanie) Frame, Jacob Frame, Claire (Alex) Gelinas, Rachel Collett, Aaron (Kelsey) Reagan, Shane (Lauren) Reagan, and Emma Reagan; three great-grandsons, Asher and Judah Frame, and Aaron Reagan Jr.; two half- brothers, Terry (Mollie) Wilmoth and Greg (Wanda) Wilmoth; half-sister, Diana (Jim) Vaughn; stepsister, Lois Benner; several extended family members; and many friends!
Ed was born on July 15, 1949, in Maynardville, Tennessee to Carl and Mary Margaret Wilmoth Reagan. He was raised by his mother and wonderful stepfather, Clyde Wilmoth, in and around the Richmond and Centerville areas. Ed was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather; stepbrother, Frank Wilmoth; and stepsister, Bobbie Smith.
Ed attended Richmond and Centerville High Schools but got his diploma later in life. He retired from Dana Corp. in 2005 with almost 30 years of service. He was a machine operator at the start, but advanced to supervisor in a few years.
Before Ed's illness, he was an avid fisherman and deer hunter and later in life he took up golf. He was not a great golfer but enjoyed the game very much!
Ed and his wife, Sue, were very active in the Hoosier Corners Square Dance Club of Richmond until his illness made it impossible to participate. He will be missed!
Visitation for Edward Leon Reagan Sr., will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Rev. Tyler Luck officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
