Edward G. Salisbury, 59, of East Franklin Street, Killingly, CT, passed away on Wednesday April 26th in his home and surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Jillian M. (Tracy) Simone.
Born in Providence, a son of Lester and Anita (Garceau) Salisbury of North Providence. He had lived in Danielson for 10 years previously living in North Smithfield, RI.
Ed was earlier employed by Polytop Corporation in North Smithfield. He had also owned and operated The Island, a local North Smithfield members club.
He enjoyed playing golf (whether good or bad), a round of cards at The Island, listening to live music, time spent with family, friends and always getting in the last laugh. He was also known for a sarcastic joke or two, or three.
Besides his wife and parents he leaves a daughter, Jessica Salisbury of Cranston, RI, his step-daughters, Heather Tracy of Dayville, CT and Tayler Tracy of Burrillville, RI. He was the grandfather of Aiden, Averi and Oliver. He was the brother of John Salisbury and his wife Beth and Stephen Salisbury and his wife Gina.
Ed was a long-time fighter of Diabetes. Donations can be made to The American Diabetes Association in his honor.
Visitation will be held Sunday April 30th from 4-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A funeral service will be held Monday May 1st at 11am in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston, RI. The American Diabetes Association

I wish I had gone to see you more at the Island. I will always remember the bowling alley and how much fun we always had. Also the times with your family. Prayers for the family. I'm so sorry. I will miss him
