Edward Sansone, Jr.

to December 23, 2024
Edward (Eddy) Sansone, Jr. (65) died tragically on December 23, 2024. Eddy was born and raised in Ridgewood, New Jersey, having lived in Midland Park and North Haledon before relocating to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2004.
Eddy previously owned hair salons in New Jersey and North Carolina before retiring. He had a love for all people and animals. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone – to a fault. Eddy lived life to the fullest. As Billy Joel sang, "he's quick with a joke or to light up your smoke, but there's some place that he'd rather be". He loved to travel, meet new people and always made everyone around him laugh.
Eddy is survived by his sons, Richard Sansone (Lisa) and Christian Sansone (Kim), four grandchildren, Dominic, Emma, Tobias & Levi his father, Edward Sansone, Sr., his brother, Robert Sansone (Jennifer) and four sisters, Laura Salvati, Nancy Colizza (Thomas), Joan Lerro (Charles) and Jean Meier (Christopher) as well as his life-long friend, Lynn Nelson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and countless friends. Eddy was pre-deceased by his mother, Barbara Sansone (1997) and brother-in-law, Vincent Salvati (2024).
The family will receive friends on January 18, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, 306 E. Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood, New Jersey 07450.
