Edward Earl Tasby, a dedicated sanitation engineer for the City of Garland, has sadly passed away at the age of 74 in Dallas, Texas. Born on September 15, 1949, in the same city he called home throughout his life, Edward leaves behind a legacy of hard work, commitment, and kindness that will long be remembered by all who knew him.

Edward spent many years serving his community through his work as a sanitation engineer for the City of Garland. His dedication to keeping the city clean and safe did not go unnoticed, and he was respected by colleagues and neighbors alike for his tireless efforts.

Beyond his professional life, Edward was a proud graduate of Dallas ISD, where he honed his skills and laid the foundation for his future career. He was known for his strong work ethic, always going above and beyond to ensure that his work was done with precision and care.

Edward will be dearly missed by his loving family, including his children, grandchildren, and extended relatives. In this time of grief, may they find solace in the memories they shared with him and take comfort in knowing that he touched the lives of many in a positive way.

Services to honor and celebrate Edward's life will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas in Dallas, Texas. A viewing is scheduled for May 10th from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service on May 11th from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. These events will provide an opportunity for friends and loved ones to come together to pay their respects and say their final farewells to a man who made a difference in the world around him.
