Mr. Edward Roy "Eddie" Thomason, age 75, of Eastanollee, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at his sister's home.
Born November 25, 1949 in Toccoa, he was the son of the late Roy and Margaret Ledbetter Thomason.
He was of the Christian Faith and was retired from Milliken and Company, and later from Avalon Sage Automotive Interiors.
Family members include his son, Brian Thomason; granddaughters, Charley Thomason and Hadley Thomason; brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter Thomason (Jackie) and Mack Thomason (Carol); sisters Louise Brock and Peggy Thomason; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Bryant Thomason; by his brother, Melvin Thomason; and a brother-in-law Jessie Brock.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev Jason DeFoor officiating.
Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.
Danny Thomason, Andy Pitts, Tim Thomason, Larry Krul, Walter Thomason and Jerry DeFoor will serve as pallbearers.
