Edward Montague "Monty" Totten, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024.
Born in Beckley, WV, he was the son on the late Edward Darcy Totten and the late Martha Jane Montague Seidel.
Mr. Totten is survived by his son, Montague Nicholas Totten of Greenville; and one sister, Becky Lyle Pinkard and her husband, Marshall, of Norfolk, VA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Melvin "Mel" Leroy Seidel; and half-brother, Melvin Leroy "Lee" Seidel II.
Services will be held on a later date. Those arrangements will be announced once finalized.

My first memory of Monty is him knocking on my door, and me answering to him holding a box of popsicles for my children. I love him more than I could ever express. He was a permanent fixture in my life and the lives of my children for the past 3 and 1/2 years. He will be missed dearly.
