Mr. Edward W. Turner Sr.

Port Jervis, NY

Mr. Edward W. Turner Sr. of Port Jervis, NY, died Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Garnet Health Medical Center. He was 64. He was born January 23, 1961 in Newburgh, NY, the son of the late Michael G. Turner and the late Katherine Turner.

Ed was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He married his beautiful wife, Evelyn Turner, and together they shared 43 years of marriage before her passing in 2024. They built a wonderful life together filled with love, laughter, and dedication to family.

Ed was the owner and operator of a painting business for over 20 years, taking great pride in his work and reputation. He was well known throughout the community and will be fondly remembered as a kindhearted "gentle giant" who would always help someone in need. Quick-witted and full of humor, Ed could always make people laugh with his jokes and stories. He was known as a hustler-wheeling and dealing, always finding a way to come out on top. Above all, he will be remembered for his generous spirit, his loyalty to those he loved, and the many lives he touched. Ed's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Surviving are: His loving children, Eddie Turner Jr. and his companion, Katie Clifton, Pamela Turner and her companion, Chris Koch, and Joe Turner and his wife April; his beloved grandchildren, Haili (Rosario), Gianna (Isaak), Gavin (Kimber), Taylor and Dylan and their mother, Vanessa Park; Tyler and Noah and their father, Bryan Tinnelly, Ryleigh, Joe Joe and Jack Turner; his great granddaughter, Brookie; his siblings, Michael Turner Jr., Gina Mortensen, Carl Turner, Cindy Kelly, Stevie Turner and Lisa Murray; Also many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by his brother, Tony Turner.

Cremation was held at the MacLennnan Hall Crematorium in Milford, PA. A celebration of life will be announced in the very near future.
