EDWARD DOUGLAS VAUGHN, 67, beloved husband of Sharon Walsh Vaughn, passed away Sunday evening, September 3, 2023 in Select Specialty Hospital, Augusta, GA.
A native of Beckley, WV, Edward was a son of the late Russell Shannon Vaughn and Wilma York Vaughn Murphy. He lived in New Ellenton since 1986 and worked as a mechanic with Palmetto Site and Asphalt and B & K Grading and Paving.
Surviving, in addition to his wife Sharon, is his son, Edward Douglas Vaughn II (Branan), New Ellenton; seven grandchildren, Jessica Young, Kaylah Young, Clayton Young, Brannon Vaughn, Stephen Vaughn, Noah Vaughn, Gavin Vaughn; three great-grandchildren, Mallory Lanford, Hayden Vaughn, Elayna Vaughn; two sisters, Kathy Murray, Oak Hill, WV, Cammie Bryant, Fayetteville, WV; two brothers, Arthur Dale Vaughn, Aiken, SC, David Owen Murphy, Oak Hill, WV.
According to his wishes, no funeral service will be held.
