Edward Walsh Jr. of Danvers, MA went home to be with the Lord on July 10, 2025, at the age of 74. Bud was born in Lynn on May 4, 1951 to the late Caroline (Berry) and Edward Walsh Sr. He was raised in Saugus with his younger brothers David and Peter.

Edward was the beloved husband of Sheila (McLaughlin) Walsh, they shared 44 years of marriage and resided in Danvers, MA. Edward worked at Zoll as an electronic technician for 30 years. He was a devoted follower of Christ and loved his church and church family. He completed Victory Bible Training in 1994 and helped to spread the Gospel on a mission trip to Sierra Leone, West Africa that year. Bud was a loving son, brother, and uncle who never missed a family gathering, where he always had a camera in hand. He enjoyed watching the Red Sox & Celtics, going to Crane's beach, seeing live music, and being with his loved ones. He will be dearly missed.

Bud was the cherished uncle to Erin Erler of Haverhill, Kelly Mackin & her husband Tim of Ipswich, Peter & his wife Lori of Buffalo, NY, Marcella, Racheal, and Leanna of Saugus, John McLaughlin & his wife Jacqueline of Dalton, Kellie Caughorn & her husband Jim of Knoxville, TN, Matthew T McLaughlin, and Alexis of Newton. Great uncle to many grand- nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, stjude.org.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS on Wednesday from 4 – 7p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m.
