To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
Edward S. Watts was born December 25, 1959, in Wadley, Alabama to Henry C. and Geneva (Houston) Watts, the second youngest of eleven boys. Edward passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at the age of 62 after a long illness in his home in the arms of his loving and devoted wife, Jeanette.
He was preceded in the death by both parents, brothers Charlie, Earnest, Toney, Leon and Adrian Watts and son Domonick Watts.
Teeny, as he was affectionately called, moved with his family to Toledo, Ohio in 1968 and attended Toledo Public Schools and graduated from Libbey High School in 1979. He later became certified in Industrial Maintenance and would use his education and skills to become a lifelong master craftsman. Teeny's expertise allowed him to become self-employed and gave him the knowledge to know how to fix any and everything in a home. His work can be seen in apartment complexes and homes throughout the city of Toledo to this day.
Teeny married the love of his life, Jeanette Martin on May 5, 2006 and they began their journey together creating memories amongst themselves and family.
Teeny was baptized at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 2005.
