Edward Weaver Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 10, 2025.
Edward Weaver, a devoted partner, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving his family and community heartbroken but grateful for the love and laughter he shared during his life.
Edward was the beloved partner of Cathy and a loving father to Brian, Jeffery, Celestina, Amelia, and David. He was a caring brother to Keith, Albert, Danny, Cynthia and Sherri. He was a doting "Pop-Pop" or Papa to Cierra, Caleb, Shane, Serena, Dalia, George and Louella. And recently a Great granddad to Dakota. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Alice, who instilled in him the values of hard work, kindness, and family.
Known for his hardworking spirit and soft spoken nature, Edward had a gift for bringing joy to others through his dad jokes, generosity, and willingness to lend a hand. Edward found joy in the simple things, like a trip to the casino, watching reruns of his favorite shows, and a good steak. He loved tinkering on cars old and new. And he could never resist the challenge of a home project. His holiday spirit was unmatched. He took joy in finding the most perfect gift for each beloved family member. And his "Griswold style" Christmas lights were a neighborhood tradition!
For more than 15 years, Edward worked with Lloyd's Pest Control, where no pest stood a chance in any home he cared for. His dedication and pride in his work made him a trusted presence for countless families and businesses.
Together with Cathy, he shared a love of travel and adventure, especially cruising. He cherished exploring the Caribbean and Alaska but found his greatest joy in visiting family.
Most recently, Edward and Cathy proudly traveled to see their grandchild, Louella, creating a memory his family will hold dear forever.
Edward's legacy lives on in the love of his family, the strength of his community, and the countless lives he touched with his kindness and humor. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love and gratitude.

Sad day when I heard the news of your passing. You trained me from day 1 that I was at Lloyd Pest Control and helped give me the knowledge of solving pest issues. Was never a job that I would call you and you would not come out to help me or even take the job yourself to solve it. I use to always joke with everyone you trained and would say " you training with Ed? Well your gonna get home late but your going to pile up the OT" Not because he was slow but because he always made sure everything was done right. Every time I saw you I would say how much you take the casino for and you always did that. You´re gonna be missed my guy! Rest easy now! Hugh Anthony
