Edward J. Weider

Edward J. Weider, age 73, of McCandless Township, passed away on February 18, 2024. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 15, 1950, the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Scott) Weider and the brother of Kathy Rhoades (Robert), Joseph Weider (Joanne Budd), and the late Joan Carr (Ken). Ed was the beloved husband of Bonny May (Fulmer) Weider and the loving father of Wendy Weider (Russell McCoy), Andrea Weider (Gerald Sapp), Maggy May Weider (Jared Zupancic), and Amber Kotchey (Keith). He was also the dear grandfather of Rosey and Isaac Kotchey.
Ed was the longtime owner of Weider Services, his HVAC and plumbing contracting company. He enjoyed motorcycles, taking rides on his Harley-Davidsons, and collecting vinyl records. Edward loved his family most of all and was a caring husband, father, and grandfather.
