Edward Wright Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by All Peoples' Funeral Home - Rosharon from Jun. 17 to Jul. 1, 2025.
As the gates from heaven were opened, the Angels gathered for the arrival of our
beloved, Edward Hagger Wright on June 10, 2025. Edward, affectionally known as
Eddie, was born on December 11, 2004 in Norwalk, CT to LaQuisha Hagger. He was
later adopted by Rudolph and Sandra Wright, who loved him dearly and watched him
grow into a kind and talented young man.
Eddie attended Hightower Senior High School. He was fond of sports. In his earlier
years, he enjoyed playing football and baseball, showcasing his athletic versatility.
However, his heart truly gravitated toward basketball, and he dedicated much of his time
to honing his skills on the court. Eddie was an active participant in AAU basketball
teams, demonstrating his commitment and love for the game. Eddie had a remarkable
talent for drawing. He spent countless hours sketching and expressing his creativity
through art.
Eddie leaves behind a loving family who cherished him deeply. He is survived by his
parents, Rudolph and Sandra Wright; his son, Nasir Wright; his beloved girlfriend, Laila
Torres; his sisters, Christina Wright, Kayshalawna Wright, and Adydriawna Wright; his
brother, Alexander Wright; his niece, Ella Wright; and his nephews, Adonis Wright and
King Wright. His grandparents, John C. Thomas, Mary M. Thomas, and Angela Hagger,
also hold his memory close. Additionally, he is mourned by his aunts Jennifer Price
(Carl) and Deborah Riggs, along with a host of other relatives and friends who loved
him dearly.
Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, LaQuisha Hagger, and his uncle, Patrick J.
Thomas. His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his
spirit, talents, and love will forever be cherished and remembered.
