Edward Zebrowski, Jr., age 65, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away on November 5, 2024, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital. He was born on January 26, 1959, in Poughkeepsie, New York, to the late Edward Zebrowski, Sr. and Eleanor Elizabeth Zebrowski.
Edward was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. He is survived by the mother of his children, Kimberly Thompson Zebrowski, their children, Cara Zebrowski and Edward Zebrowski, III, as well as his daughter-in-law, Jackie. He also leaves behind his sister, Dianne, and his brother-in-law, Mike.
Edward was a dedicated man who cherished time spent with those he loved. He held a Bachelor's degree from SUNY Postdam University in New York, and had a successful career with IBM where he worked as a brilliant senior programmer. His intelligence and strong work ethic made him a respected figure in both his professional and personal circles. He was a golfer, enjoyed bowling, fishing, Nascar and his Hellcat. Although he went through tough times in his last few years, he never stopped fighting. We know he is at peace now and we know his good memories will live on with those who knew him and loved him.
His kind nature, sense of humor, and unwavering support for his family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Zebrowski, Sr. and Eleanor Elizabeth Zebrowski, and leaves a legacy of kindness, strength, and integrity.
At the request of Edward, there will be no services. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to join them in remembering his life, sharing stories, and honoring the man who touched so many hearts.

My heartfelt sympathy. I had enjoyed working with Ed for over 30 years. First time I had met him was at the IBM bowling leagues in the early 90's. He had a phenomenal talent and was very passionate. As his abilities had shined in bowling & in other sports, I had found him to be a fierce competitor! Since his retirement, I had sincerely missed playing foosball games & chats about motorcycles and fast cars during our breaks at work! His programming skills were exceptional and his code is still in use worldwide today! May his legacy lives on!

Sincere condolences to Ed's family. He was a brilliant programmer, but even more importantly he was always smiling and making others smile, so it was my pleasure to work with him.

My condolences to the the family. I truly enjoyed working with him, and talking about cars, especially the Hellcat. I will always remember him saying after he got it, "I don't like to go fast, but I love to accellerate fast!"
