Edwin Budzyn

Edwin "Eddie" C. Budzyn, a beacon of warmth and love, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025, at the age of 58 in Hinsdale, Illinois. Born on August 20, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois, Eddie's life was a symphony of joy, friendship, and dedication to his family and passions.
Eddie's journey through life was shared with his beloved wife, Rosalie Budzyn nee Serna, who was his partner in every sense of the word. Together, they raised a beautiful family, including their children Jasmine (Michael) Mrozek, Caitlyn Budzyn, and Adrian Budzyn. As a brother, Eddie was a pillar of support and camaraderie. He is survived by his siblings Adam (Jackie Broom) Budzyn, Edwina (Bruce) Snyder, Matthew (Stacey) Budzyn, and Daniel (Emily) Budzyn.
Eddie's enthusiasm for life was infectious. An avid enthusiast of music, sports, and science, he had an insatiable curiosity and a zest for knowledge. His love for animals was evident to all who knew him, and his pets were considered a part of his extended family. Eddie was the kind of friend who was always there, offering support and a listening ear, and he marched to the beat of his own drum, inspiring others to do the same.
Eddie's departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, but his spirit will continue to guide and inspire. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, we take comfort in the countless memories and the indelible mark he has left on our lives.
