Geisler, Edwin, 74, of Lyndhurst, died on Friday, February 9, 2024. Mr. Geisler was born in Bad Tolz, Germany and moved to the United States in 1957, to Paterson where he lived for over 10 years. He then moved to Fairlawn for 10 years before settling in Lyndhurst where he lived for 40 years. Edwin experienced a lifelong career as a plumber, first starting out as an apprentice at age 16 and most recently with Plumbers Local 24 of West Caldwell, retiring in 2019. He loved gardening, especially growing tomatoes, and he enjoyed fishing as well. Edwin is survived by his beloved partner, Lisa Kostiner, by his loving son, Leonard Geisler and his wife, Clarissa Piper, by Lisa's son, Justin Diller, by his cherished grandchildren, Austin, Lucas, and Annelise Geisler, by his dear nephew, Thomas Geisler, and by his adored cat, Scooby. He was predeceased by his brother and sister, Thomas Geisler, Sr. and Ingrid Dombrowski.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 5 - 7 PM. A funeral service will begin at 6:30 PM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Humane Society of Bergen County, 221 Stuyvesant Avenue, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071. You may express your condolences to Edwin's family by using our tribute wall.

I had the pleasure of working with Eddie on a plumbing job site in Jersey City. He was a great asset and excellent plumber. We did share a few laughs together. He will be missed. Dave D'Agostino
