Edwin Hardin, 88, of Georgetown, TN passed away on August 14, 2025. He was born on August 21, 1936 to the late Rannie and Rosa Hardin. Edwin loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren, who affectionately knew him as "Papaw."
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Elois Hardin; siblings: Dude, Betty, Louise, Gene, Wanda, and Geneva.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children: Judy Koon (Sam), and Mike Hardin (Carla); brother Lavone Hardin; sister-in-law Mary Anne Bettis; grandchildren: Mikel Hardin (Wendy), William Branham (Tish), Leslie Marko, Anthony Hurst (Lindsey), Tabitha Simms (Brett), and David Sanders; great grandchildren: Bryson, Olivia, Avery, Ethan, Brooklyn, Keegan, Skylee, Noah, and Briley; great great grandchildren: Waylon and Junie.
Edwin's family will receive friends on Sunday August 17th from 4pm until 7pm at the "Ridge Chapel" of Companion Funeral Home located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of Edwin's life will be held at 2pm on Monday August 18th at the funeral home with burial to follow at McInturff Cemetery. Pastor Ronnie Harden will be officiating.
Mikel Hardin, Anthony Hurst, Bryson Millwood, William Branham, Robert Hardin, and Bryan Neely will serve as pallbearers and Keegan Marko, Ethan Branham, Randy Hardin, and David Hardin will serve as honorary pallbearers.
