Edwin C. Isamoyer, 87, of Kutztown, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, September 5, 2025, at his home.
Born November 5, 1937, in Reading, he was the son of the late George and Irene (Guldin) Isamoyer. His wife of 40 years, Charlotte J. (Bower) Isamoyer, passed away on December 13, 1998.
Ed attended the Longswamp School and went on to work for East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc., for 38 ½ years in the A1 plant. He was a member of the Kutztown Hobos and the Lyons Fire Company. Ed enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing softball, watching and rooting on his Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, and especially spending time with his family.
Ed is survived by his three children, Heath A. Isamoyer, Sr., husband of Fay L. (Schadler) Isamoyer, Blandon, Angie J. (Isamoyer) Moyer, wife of Darryl J. Moyer, Kutztown, and Desiree S. Isamoyer, Wyomissing. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Heath A. Isamoyer, Jr., husband of Ashley (Lott) Isamoyer, Dylan J. Moyer, fiancé of Morgan Weiant, and Anthony J. Loy-Heller, his great-granddaughters, Hailee & Ella, and by many nieces and nephews.
Along with his wife, Charlotte, and his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Herbert Isamoyer, George Isamoyer Jr., Harold Isamoyer, Jean Althouse, Betty Oswald, Joyce Neimeyer, and Anna Eisenhard.
Funeral Services for Ed will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 14390 Kutztown Road, Fleetwood, PA. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
A viewing for Ed will be held Tuesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
