Edwin Thomas Jeffers

Edwin Thomas Jeffers, born on January 11, 1951, in Crowley, Louisiana, passed away on September 6, 2025, in Nederland, Texas. He was 74 years old.

A proud graduate of Crowley High School, Edwin went on to serve his country in the United States Army. His military service took him around the world and instilled in him a deep appreciation for travel and experience. After completing his time in the Army, he returned home and began a long and varied career in the oilfield industry across Louisiana and Texas. His dedication and work ethic led him to retire as a purchasing agent in Sabine Pass, Texas.

Edwin was known for his love of storytelling and cherished the time he spent with those closest to him. Whether sharing memories or simply enjoying a quiet moment together, he found joy in connection and conversation.

He is survived by his longtime partner Deborah Loyd and her children Joshua Loyd, Lacey Mcfadin, and Shelby Saldana and their spouses and children; his daughter Dori Vincent and her children Jack Thomas and Ellen Claire Vincent; his brothers Nolan Shane Jeffers and Clinton Jeffers; and his sister Jolene LeBlanc.

Edwin was preceded in death by his mother Rita Breaux LeBlanc, his father Elmer Hugh Jeffers, and his stepfather W.J. "Nookie" LeBlanc, his brother Elmer Hugh Jeffers Jr, and Dori's mother Charlotte Robison Jeffers.
