Edwin Joseph Lehan, 91 passed away on November 16, 2025, at his home in Bowie, Maryland surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on March 19, 1934, in New York. Edwin was a dedicated husband, father and an active member of the church.
A veteran, Ed joined the United States Navy in 1953 and spent years serving his country. He married Adrienne Verbouwens in Flushing, NY in 1957. They would later move to their lifelong home in 1964. Ed served two decades as a Mechanical Machine Designer with Autometric/Raytheon. His interest in fish led him to own and operate Hilltop Aquarium from 1979 to 1997 where he never missed a day of work. For over 40 years, Ed served as a head Usher at St. Pius X Catholic Church, a role he loved and cherished. He will be remembered for his hard work, deep faith, and unconditional love.
Edwin was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Edwin. He is survived by his wife, Adrienne; his four children, Edwin (Teresa), Richard (Tammy), Kathleen (Charlie), and Laura (Mike); sixteen grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.
A private Catholic mass will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church in Bowie, Maryland.
