Edward Patrick Lehan January 20, 1939 – September 16, 2025Edward Patrick Lehan was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Edward and Mary (Kavanaugh) Lehan. He passed away peacefully at the age of 86.Edward was married to Christina Lehan (née Gribben) until her passing in 2007. He was a father to Michael, George (Kathie), Edward (Joanne), John (Tara), Annmarie (John), and Kenny (Lisa); a grandfather to Joseph, Chris, Scott, Danny, Jonathan, Matthew, Jenna, Thomas, Morgan, Jack, Christina, Emily, Jennifer, John, and Kailyn; and a great-grandfather to Maverick..He was preceded in death by his siblings Catherine Coyle and Patrick Lehan and is survived by Eileen Hoetzel, James Lehan, John Lehan, and he was blessed with the love of his companion, Cecilia Leininger, who remained by his side and filled his later years with happiness..Edward lived in Hazlet, New Jersey, from the 1960s until 1997, then became a seasonal "snowbird," traveling between Pennsylvania and Florida. There wasn't a social organization he wasn't part of-Knights of Columbus, Elks, American Legion, Goodfellows, Irish Federation , VFW, and even the Royal Order of Raccoons, to name a few. He will be remembered for his dedication to family and his talent for bringing people together.
