Edwin W. Morse Jr.

Edwin William Morse Jr. 78, of Concord, NH, died December 25, 2025, at Concord Hospital following a brief period of declining health.

Edwin was born in Concord on December 22, 1947, to Edwin and Louise (Tatro) Morse. Ed grew up in Penacook and in his earlier years worked on the Penacook rescue Squad and later, the Loudon Fire Department as a volunteer, eventually working for Northeast Utilities (PSNH) until he retired in 2006. He met Regina Nichol when he was 15 and they were married on April 8, 1967, when he was just 19. They spent 58 loving years together until Ed was called home on Christmas Day.

Ed loved everything outdoors, including hunting and fishing and enjoyed many hunting trips to Anticosti in Quebec, Canada. He spent much of his time skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling at his Vermont house in past years as well as fishing out west in Wyoming and Colorado whenever and wherever he could. He and Regina loved to travel across the U.S. and when at home, he passed the time working on projects big and small, and puttering around the yard and in his garage.

Ed was a very kind person who would do anything for anyone just to help them out. He loved his family and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. Ed will live on in the hearts of friends and family forever.

Ed is survived by his wife, Regina; his sons Jeffrey Morse and wife Susanne, and Michael Morse and wife Kelly; grandchildren James Morse, Mariah Morse Latham and husband Kevin, MaKenzie Morse, Alyssa Morse, and Greg Avila; sister Gail York; brother Wayne Morse and wife Sandra; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Linda Paige.

Servies will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
