Edwin Shipley Obituary
Edwin was born July 26, 1939, in Centerville Pa the second son of Edwin and Mildred Hollowood Shipley.
He worked for IBM for 35 years, retiring in 1996. He worked in various locations in his 35 years, Washington DC, Manassas VA and Essex Jct.
He greatly enjoyed Sudoko Puzzels, talking on his Ham Radio, watching westerns one right after the other and took great interest in the Fox News Stations.
Edwin belonged to the Cairo Shriners, Scottish Rites Masonic Lodge of Jericho VT, 2 ham radio clubs and the Eastern Star of Williston.
He was a hard worker, a kind and loving person and simply loved talking to people from all walks of life.
Edwin is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Martha (Ward) Shipley, two sisters in law and a host of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers.
All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
